Anthony P. Lombardi

Founder & President

Anthony P. Lombardi is an accomplished athlete, successful business owner, and restaurateur. He has spent his adult life redesigning his businesses to fit his lifestyle and not the other way around.

An entrepreneur by nature, Anthony sold his restaurants 15 years ago and turned his considerable talents towards a career as a financial advisor. Even though Anthony was earning a high six-figure income as an advisor, he wanted to find a better way to operate. After experiencing the inefficiencies inherent in the financial services industry, he decided to change the way he does business. In the process of restructuring his own business, he has found a much more efficient and effective way for all financial advisors to operate.

Anthony realized that in order to take his practice to the next level, he had to take some time off from working directly with end-user clients in order to focus his practice on developing strategic, integrated relationships with Centers of Influence (COI). Specifically, Anthony focused his efforts on developing relationships with CPAs, attorneys, and private bankers that represent the demographic he wanted to work with. While many advisors have attempted to work with COI in the past, Anthony truly “cracked the code” and perfected the revolutionary Perfect Client System.

Anthony has been perfecting the art and science of building strategic, integrated, leveraged relationships with Centers of Influence and has trained hundreds of financial advisors how to supercharge their practice by using the Perfect Client System. Anthony now enjoys a practice where there is virtually no marketing expenses, no prospecting, and no selling to or closing prospects. New business is consistently delivered through the CPAs, attorneys, and private bankers in Anthony’s network. The time that Anthony used to spend on prospecting, marketing, and working on his business he now devotes to his faith, family, and friends.

Before sustaining a career-ending shoulder injury, Anthony spent some time playing for the Houston Astros in their farm system. When he is not spending time with his family, Anthony enjoys surfing every chance he gets. He surfs locally in San Diego, in Fiji, and in some of the world’s other most beautiful destinations. Anthony also loves to fly planes and scuba dive and lives his life to the fullest. He is also extremely active in the community and his church, specifically mentoring young children. Anthony coaches baseball at a local Christian high school and enjoys giving back whenever he can. Using the Perfect Client System enables Anthony the free time to live his life a better way.

Scott Johnson

Director of Business Development

For over 35 years, Scott has been helping business owners grow their firms and develop deeper, more meaningful relationships with their clients. Having been a wholesaler for a handful of investment companies earlier in his career, he has valuable insight into the business owner’s world…the challenges they face in building a practice and delivering value to their clients.

As Director of Business Development, Scott is responsible for helping to provide LG’s clients with all of the resources they need to deliver massive value to their key relationships. He is also responsible for sourcing new CPA relationships for the firm, making sure that they are a good fit for the Family Office experience that LG provides. Scott also coordinates the company’s client events.

If you invest any time with Scott, you will see that his faith and his family are of utmost importance to him. He has been married to his beautiful wife, Karen, for 25 years and is the proud father of three amazing children. Over his career, he has purposefully worked his calendar so as not to miss ANY important moments in his and his family’s life. He has established an unquestioned reputation for integrity, honesty, customer service, and a tireless work ethic. Scott is extremely pleased to be affiliated with a company built on these same values.


Stu Kesselhaut

Director of Client Operations

Stuart wants to serve others, he cares! He is the ultimate team player and he wants to make a difference in other’s lives.

Stuart serves as the Director of Client Operations for the Lombardi Group. In this capacity, Stuart’s primary responsibility is to coordinate and communicate with the internal and external team members, their back offices, our clients and their clients to ensure the opportunities move forward, from opening to closure. He is also responsible for identifying and qualifying those firms that may be a good fit for The LG Experience. Stuart has been working closely with the principal of LG for many years as a valued resource and has become fluent in the proprietary details that make up the LG TEAM VFO model, which makes him ideal for this position.

In 1982, Stuart graduated from the University of Miami with a BBA degree and in 1984 he earned his MBA from California State University, San Bernardino. Stuart resides in Carlsbad, Ca with his wife Tracy, they have three children. In his spare time, Stuart is very involved in his Family’s Foundation as well as supporting the Fisher House Foundation, Lymelight Foundation, Boys to Men Mentoring Program and Miracle League of San Diego. He enjoys being with friends and family, working out, going to the beach, watching sports and traveling.


Richard Muscio

Lead Architect

Richard Muscio is a CPA whose technical specialty is estate/gift/trust matters.

Richard’s primary role is serving as “of counsel” to 6 Family Offices that have their own “in-house” CPA/CFO. These Family Offices “up-source” a variety of specialty projects to Richard, so that day-to-day operations are not affected by significant projects that normally exceed the scope and experience of a typical in-house CPA/CFO for a Family Office.

Examples include: the design and implementation of large intra-family wealth transfer programs, representation of significant income tax, estate tax, and gift tax controversies with taxing authorities, potential investment due diligence, improving financial and accounting reporting systems including the use of ASP technologies, and serving as the collaborative “hub” of a high-net-worth family’s complimentary legal, financial, valuation, and accounting resource providers.

Richard is the founder of the Move Your Feet Before You Eat Foundation, the Oceanside Turkey Trot and the Vista Strawberry Fest 5k. His foundation focuses on improving public school student physical fitness, replacing junk food snack options with healthy food options, and reducing teen pregnancy in the Oceanside and Vista public school systems. Richard has expanded his job title to include author as well. In Greg S. Reid’s Book “The Rise,” Richard wrote Chapter 9. His book “So What’s Your Play” focuses on the monumental changes that “The Battle of the Sexes” between Bobby Riggs and Billie Jean King had on society in its strive towards gender equality.

For fun Richard plays baseball (no, not softball) and tennis, and he is also a long-distance endurance runner.
